Fireweed, named for its ability to propagate easily after a disturbance in the land, like a forest fire. The bright pink flowers are everywhere, fringes on the roadsides and the buildings. It is emblematic of the north.

The country highest’s peak, Mount Logan, is hiding in Kluane N.P.. To reach it, one needs to travel through glaciers and icefields.
